Building Control Surveyor

Up to £44,280 per annum

Salary dependent on experience and qualifications

Permanent, 37 hours per week

We have an exciting opportunity for a Building Control Surveyor to join our established Building Control team.

We are looking for an individual with proven experience of providing an effective and efficient Building Control operation within a designated area or district. Consideration will be given to candidates who are either a full member of RICS or CABE, working towards full membership or have proven relevant building control experience.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for undertaking all Building Control duties including plan checking for compliance with Building Regulations and associated legislation, site inspections, and the investigation of reports of dangerous structures and demolitions.

A good working knowledge and experience of building and construction is essential, as is an informed understanding and awareness of current relevant regulations and legislation. An excellent communicator with the ability to prioritise your own workload, you will be highly organised and capable of working both independently and as part of a team.
