We are currently looking for a Building Control Surveyor to join our team.

The Role

As a Building Control Surveyor, you will ensure that the borough’s growth is built safely and to the latest standards.

You will ensure the health and safety of Watford residents and businesses by reviewing domestic and commercial building schemes and making sure that they comply with Building Regulations requirements.

About You

To join us as a Building Control Surveyor, you will need:

  • Experience as a Building Control Surveyor 
  • Previous experience with domestic and commercial building schemes
  • A qualification in a building control-related field 
  • Strong problem-solving abilities 
  • Good communication skills

Other organisations may call this role Building Control Officer, Building Inspector, BCO, Approved Inspector, Building Surveyor, or Building Compliance Officer. 

The closing date for applications is the 16th August 2020. 

A basic DBS check will be carried out for this post.
