As Regional Manager, you will play a key part in the growth and development of the region and be tasked with making decisions for the benefit of colleagues, your region and the Group as a whole. The purpose of this role is to provide support to the Regional Director in the North in managing the delivery of the Group strategic process, including supporting and mentoring staff with your team/region. The key objectives for this position are to assist with the development and delivery of processes to improve technical & business operations to maintain Assent’s position as the No. 1 Approved Inspector in England & Wales; support Associates with queries (technical, operational & compliance); lead regular Regional Meetings and to provide operational building control on a number of projects within your region as well as providing technical assistance to less experienced colleagues.
To be shortlisted you must have previous experience in a senior role in a building control environment including corporate membership of either MCABE or MRICS. As a high calibre Building Control Surveyor you will have natural leadership skills, be capable of working with the minimum of supervision and be highly skilled at building relationships, with excellent communication skills and commercial awareness.
