Job Description

Senior Building Control Surveyor (Grade 12: £36,922 - £42,821) dependant on experience along with flexible working, out of hours payments and a generous holiday and pensions package.

About You

Following a recent restructure of the Building Control team, we are looking for Surveyors who have a good working knowledge and experience of building and construction. Also an understanding of the Building Regulations and all relevant legislation.

You will be responsible for undertaking all relevant Building Control duties such as site inspections, plan assessments to check for compliance with the Building Regulations and also dealing with reported Dangerous structures and demolitions.

This post has a significant travel requirement and you are contractually required to have a vehicle (or transport deemed to be suitable by the council) available for use as required.
