Astute's Power team is partnering with a leading principal contractor to recruit a M&E Quantity Surveyor on a 18-month contract for its site in West Midlands. Key skills Manage contract administration and procurement processes for M&E works. Perform regular cost monitoring and reporting throughout project lifecycle. Negotiate with contractors and suppliers to ensure best value for the organization. Assist in the preparation of final accounts and settlement of contractual claims. Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices in M&E quantity surveying. Utilize building information modelling (BIM) and 3D models to enhance accuracy and efficiency in quantity take-off. Experience within the EfW sector or similar industry highly beneficial.
