In November, CABE signified its commitment to a continued partnership with the University of Wolverhampton by signing a memorandum of understanding (MoU) at the institution’s city campus.
On 12 November, Richard Harral, CABE CEO, sat down with Professor Ebrahim Adia, Vice Chancellor of the university, alongside Kyran Sze, CABE Hong Kong Regional Chair, to sign the partnership certificate, followed by tours of the impressive City Campus and Springfield Campus.
On 18 November, at the CABE Hong Kong office, the MoU was subsequently signed between Sze and Dr Paul Hampton, Head of the School of Architecture and Built Environment within the University of Wolverhampton. Also in attendance were Dr Hampton’s colleagues, Dr Nick Williams and John Reynolds, alongside Hong Kong General Manager Vivian Sie.
This newly extended MoU acknowledges and further develops the longstanding relationship between the university and the Association, both in the UK and in various international markets. The signing means the collaboration and strengthening of the partnership. This ensures markets such as building control and built environment subjects are fully accredited, and it provides both students and apprentices with an opportunity to progress towards CABE membership.
