My client is a 160 m turnover Civils contracting specialist with operations across the country. The current requirement is on a 100 m package of work close to Birmingham city centre. The ideal candidates will have a subcontracting/main contracting background, at least 2-4 years post-graduate experience and a good understanding of the administration of NEC contracts- compensation events, early warnings and so on. I am looking for a Quantity Surveyor for a large Civil Engineering infrastructure scheme in Birmingham. This project is due to run for at least another 5 years and my client has plenty of ongoing work in the Midlands and across the UK. You will be working as part of an established commercial team and will have the opportunity to progress your career on an exciting project. Opportunities for progression are genuine and my client is known for high levels of staff retention/satisfaction. You will need a Quantity Surveying degree background and at least 2-3 years experience- this could be in Civil Engineering or Construction.
