My client, a growing house builder, are seeking a Quantity Surveyor. As Quantity Surveyor, you will: Place contracts for all relevant subcontractor work on their developments Prepare subcontract enquiries, send out for pricing and ensure that contracts are placed in line with the build programme Produce a detailed trade specific scope of works and qualification notes for all enquiry documentation Analyse subcontractor quotes and form a recommendation on who to appoint Ensure standard terms and conditions are agreed with all orders/contracts placed Manage subcontractor payments Process stage payments to subcontractors when due Ensure all contra charges are managed Carry out checks for UTR status of subcontractors Review and process variations in accordance with terms and conditions Work in partnership with other teams to ensure key dates for the build programme are achieved Check drawings to ensure the proposals are practical and commercially viable...
