Duties will involve the delivery of NEC Option A smaller value subcontractors, structures and surfacing packages including overseeing Sub Contractor Accounts, Applications for payments and Cost Reporting. To be considered for this role you will have a minimum of an HNC in Quantity Surveying and will have circa 5-10 years experience as a Quantity Surveyor ideally on Highways related works within the Main Contracting environment. Local based is required as this is 5 days site based. In return a top day rate is on offer along with a long term contract and immediate start for the right individual. Our clients is looking for a Quantity Surveyor on a freelance basis to join their team working on a major Tunnelling & Civils scheme in Porthmadog North Wales. They are looking for a QS who can oversee Sub Contractor Accounts, Issue Payments, Applications for Payments, Compensation Events and CVRs/Cost Reporting. The role is to be based at their site offices 5 days a week and is for an initial 3 months with it likely to be extended after Christmas. Rate is negotiable and is Outside IR35.
