Overview GRADUATE STRUCTURAL ENGINEER Westlakes Engineering Ltd are an engineering consultancy practice and Employee-Owned Trust, providing Civil, Structural, Nuclear, Geo-Environmental and Attraction Safety services from offices in Whitehaven, Manchester, and Preston. We are currently seeking a Graduate Structural Engineer to join our team in our Manchester Northern Quarter office. Hours: 9am to 5pm (5 days a week) Terms: Permanent Responsibilities The design of buildings for a wide range of commercial, residential, leisure and industrial projects at sites all over the country Preparing calculations from feasibility through to detailed design and construction level both by hand and using software such as Tedds and Tekla Structural Designer Assisting with, or carrying out, site inspections and surveys Working in a team with experienced engineers and technicians Attending design team meetings and co-ordinating design work with other professionals including Architects,...
