We re looking for an Associate Structural Engineer to lead the Poole office of a respected multidisciplinary consultancy, with a strong reputation for delivering innovative, sustainable design solutions across the UK. As their Poole office continues to grow, we are seeking an Associate Structural Engineer to join the team. This is an outstanding opportunity to take on a leadership role within a forward-thinking and expanding consultancy.
As an Associate Structural Engineer, you ll take responsibility for leading projects across a diverse range of sectors, including residential, commercial, and infrastructure. You will be the key point of contact for clients, ensuring projects are delivered to the highest standard. Alongside project delivery, you ll play a pivotal role in the strategic development of the Poole office, supporting Directors in business development, building client relationships, and mentoring the next generation of engineers within the team. This is a chance to make a lasting impact on both projects and people.
We are looking for a highly experienced Structural Engineer with strong leadership and client management skills. You ll already be operating at a senior level, with proven experience managing projects, leading teams, and contributing to business growth. What You Need To Succeed
- Extensive technical design experience across a range of materials and sectors.
- Strong project management skills, with a proven track record of delivering complex projects.
- Excellent client-facing and business development skills.
- Experience leading and mentoring engineers at varying levels.
- Ambition to contribute to the long-term growth and success of the business.
- Chartered with either IStructE or ICE.
- MEng or BEng in Civil Engineering (or equivalent).
