The Opportunity
Due to recent project wins in the Healthcare sector, the company is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join its Healthcare team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated QS to lead on complex, extremely high-value Healthcare schemes while developing both technical and client-facing skills in a supportive consultancy environment.
You will work closely with senior colleagues, gaining exposure to project leadership, client management, and progression routes towards Associate QS level and beyond in a highly supportive and flexible environment.
The Role
As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will be involved in:
- Delivering pre- and post-contract Quantity Surveying services across Healthcare projects
- Preparing cost plans, feasibility studies, procurement strategies, and risk assessments
- Supporting contract administration, change management, and financial reporting
- Working under NEC contracts (essential)
- Liaising with clients, clinical stakeholders, and design teams
- Contributing to commercial management and project delivery from early stages to final account
- Supporting and strengthening client relationships
- Working collaboratively within a growing Healthcare project team
The Candidate
The ideal candidate will bring:
- A degree in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline
- Consultancy / PQS-side experience
- Experience with leading teams
- Experience in Healthcare, public-sector or complex built-environment projects
- Experience working on Capital Projects
- Strong commercial awareness and excellent communication skills
- MRICS status or working toward it (full support provided)
- Experience with NEC forms of contract
- Ambition to take on increasing responsibility, including client-facing and leadership opportunities
