Job Description
We are currently working with a major Renewable Energy client on a utility-scale BESS project in the midlands.
The project requires a Civil/Structural Engineer with deep knowledge and experience of Substation civils design, including:
- Foundation slabs
- Equipment layout design
- Cable trenching/ducting
- Retaining structures
- On substations up to 400kV
The role is primarly remote, with occasional office presence (approx 2 days per month) and provision to set up a temporary office on-site in Stoke if required.
- 6 month initial contract with very high likelihood of extension
- Approx rate 55- 60 per hour
- Outside IR 35
- 2 week reciprocal notice period
