We are currently seeking a motivated Graduate Structural Engineer to join our team in London.

Are you looking to gain experience as a Structural Engineer this summer? With LSY Engineering Consultants Ltd you will get the opportunity to work on live on going projects while receiving all levels of support from the team of graduates to chartered engineers. We work on a wide range of projects involving both permanent and temporary works mainly in the residential and commercial sectors. After your placement you will have the opportunity to then join our team on a part time basis throughout university and/or join us when you graduate. Your continuous improvement, development and progression is important to us which is why we will provide support towards achieving your MIStructE Chartership.

• Working on projects including permanent works projects in various sectors including new build, refurbishment projects and temporary works.
• Carrying out structural designs, structural surveys and structural inspections. All training and works will be checked by 2no. chartered CEng MIStructE structural engineers.
• Opportunity to be involved in other parts of the business e.g., reports generation, event management, marketing, financials etc.

We are looking for internship students with curiosity, personal drive, design flair and technical knowhow. If you can combine these skills with an understanding of (or willingness to learn about) and a desire to deliver excellent services for clients, we'd like to hear from you.

• To be currently undertaking engineering related course (e.g., BEng or MEng).
• Possessing effective communication skills that enable collaboration with clients, suppliers, and the general public.
• A desire to work collaboratively with a positive attitude and challenging yourself to find new solutions.
• Enthusiasm and drive to develop your skillset and seek out development opportunities within a supportive team.
• Motivation to achieve professional accreditation (where applicable).
• Have basic IT knowledge, for example Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel.
