Job Description

A well-established GENT integrator is looking for a Fire Service Engineer to join its Birmingham team.

Training and development are built into the role, not bolted on. Engineers join into a programme focused on continuous learning and technical excellence, with formal training on systems, health and safety, and development pathways that go beyond the basics.

What the role involves

  • Planned service and maintenance across commercial and social housing
  • Reactive callouts and remedial work
  • Fire alarms, emergency lighting, AOVs and associated systems
  • Fault finding and corrective action

Training is a key part of how engineers are supported from day one. You ll be backed with structured technical development, GENT system training, and ongoing review to help you grow your skillset.

  • GENT training as soon as you join

  • Specialist tools supplied to do the job properly

Benefits

  • Basic salary up to £39,000
  • Company van with private use and fuel card
  • £245 per week standby payment
  • Door-to-door travel paid while on call

Working hours are Monday to Friday, 08:30 to 17:00. Holiday entitlement starts at 22 days plus bank holidays, increasing with service.
