Quantity Surveyor
Residential Housebuilding
An established residential housebuilder is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join its commercial team, working across new-build housing and mixed-tenure developments.
Role Responsibilities
Commercial management of residential developments from site start through to completion
Subcontract procurement, tender analysis, and order placement
Preparation and management of budgets, CVRs, and cost reports
Valuation of subcontractor applications and agreement of final accounts
Management of variations and cost control to protect project margins
Close collaboration with site, technical, and sales teams
Candidate Requirements
Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within the housebuilding or residential construction sector
Strong commercial awareness and understanding of cost control and procurement
Ability to manage multiple live sites and work to tight budgets and programmes
Confident communicator with subcontractors and internal stakeholders
Relevant construction or commercial qualification preferred
