Quantity Surveyor Drylining Contractor (London)
I m working with a well-established drylining subcontractor based in London who is looking to bring in an experienced Quantity Surveyor at mid-level.
This is a contractor-side role, suited to someone who knows drylining inside out and is comfortable running multiple projects from procurement through to final account.

I m working with a well-established drylining subcontractor based in London who is looking to bring in an experienced Quantity Surveyor at mid-level.
This is a contractor-side role, suited to someone who knows drylining inside out and is comfortable running multiple projects from procurement through to final account.
The role will include:
- Full commercial management of drylining packages on residential and commercial projects
- Preparing and submitting interim valuations
- Pricing, negotiating and agreeing variations
- Procurement of subcontractors and materials
- Cost reporting and forecasting
- Managing subcontractor accounts and payments
- Agreeing final accounts with main contractors
- Attending commercial and site meetings as required
- 5+ years experience as a Quantity Surveyor
- Strong background with a specialist drylining subcontractor
- Experience working on London-based residential and/or commercial projects
- Confident dealing with main contractors and client QS teams
- Strong understanding of drylining systems, rates and packages
- Organised, commercially aware and able to manage multiple jobs
- Long-term position with a stable and busy subcontractor
