Civil Structural Engineer

• Location: Bristol - Hybrid Working
• Salary/Rate: Up to £50,000

We are looking for a Civil Structural Engineer to join a growing team supporting the delivery of Hinkley Point C-one of the largest and most complex infrastructure projects in the world. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on nuclear grade reinforced concrete structures, gaining exposure to advanced construction methods including 3D BIM rebar modelling (TEKLA), within a highly regulated environment.

You will play a key role in supporting site based design and construction activities, including:

• Modifying reinforced concrete and steel designs in line with Eurocodes / ETCS-C
• Coordinating detailing with CAD and BIM teams (2D & 3D modelling)
• Managing engineering changes in line with QA procedures

• Field Change Requests (FCRs)
• Field Information Requests (FIRs)
• Non Conformances (NCRs)

• Site construction teams
• Internal multidisciplinary teams
• Reviewing and approving contractor deliverables
• Conducting site walkdowns and inspections

• Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
• Up to 5 years' experience in Civil / Structural / Infrastructure Engineering
• Experience with reinforced concrete design
• Strong communication and stakeholder coordination skills
• Ability to work in a fast paced, collaborative environment

• Temporary Works or Method Engineering
• Highly regulated industries (e.g. nuclear, rail, heavy infrastructure)
• Design to construction transition
• Working alongside contractors on site
• Exposure to BIM / TEKLA modelling
