Goodrich is a privately owned and growing consultancy delivering high-quality Project Management and Quantity Surveying / Employer's Agent services to a prestigious and loyal client base. We are particularly well regarded for our work in industrial and commercial projects, alongside education, leisure and other sectors.

We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Project Manager or Senior Building Surveyor (with strong project management experience) to join our Bristol team and play a key role in shaping the next stage of our journey.

The role

You will take ownership of projects across their full lifecycle, working closely with clients and colleagues to deliver high-quality outcomes. This is a hands on role with real responsibility and the opportunity to influence how we continue to grow as a business.

About you

We're looking for someone who is motivated, proactive and ambitious, with a consultancy background and a passion for delivering great projects.

You will ideally have:

  • Experience as a Project Manager or Building Surveyor within a consultancy environment
  • A strong understanding of the full property development cycle, including pre-contract technical due diligence
  • The confidence to lead projects, manage client relationships and report directly to them, reacting to their needs in a proactive and positive manner
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a small team, managing your own workload and supporting junior colleagues
  • A sound understanding of construction technology, quality inspections and reporting
  • Experience with construction procurement and contract administration, particularly JCT
  • Exposure to industrial, education and/or multi-room sectors (desirable but not essential)
  • A relevant professional qualification (MCIOB or RICS)
  • A stable and demonstrable track record of successful project delivery
