Principal Structural Engineer

We are recruiting a Principal Structural Engineer on behalf of an established multi-disciplinaryconsultancy in Manchester a little bit below the radar that you may not have heard of but a very interesting and established companywith offices in London, Edinburgh and Manchester.They have very established structural teams in Edinburgh and London and are growing the Manchester team with established business and projects to own andmanage and a long term growth plan. You will join the structural director as his number 2 with a view to take on 2 more engineers in the next 12 months.

As Principal Structural Engineer you will be managing 7 or 8 projects from day one across multiple sectors including commercial. healthcare, leisure, heritage from 1 to 10 million and business is growing rapidly. Cool offices with good people and an above averageremunerationpackageis on offer with a path to Associate.

About you and the role

• You will be an experienced structural design professional with 7 years+ experienced in managing medium/large structural projects
• Ensuring projects are completed to time and budget and of quality.
• Managing clients and delivering projects
• Leading and mentoring engineers as the team grows
• Ideally chartered or close to being chartered
