Job Description
A well-established multidisciplinary engineering consultancy is looking to appoint a Graduate Fire Engineer to join their expanding fire engineering team.
This role is ideal for an ambitious Graduate Fire Engineer looking to start their career within a respected fire engineering team delivering innovative and sustainable building design solutions.
Working alongside experienced engineers, the Graduate Fire Engineer will support fire engineering strategies across a range of projects including residential, commercial, industrial and public sector developments.
The Graduate Fire Engineer's Role
- Supporting the development of fire engineering strategies across multiple projects
- Assisting with fire safety design from early concept stages through to construction
- Contributing to technical analysis and fire engineering calculations
- Working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams including architects and building engineers
- Attending project meetings and assisting with project delivery
- Learning to apply UK fire safety regulations and guidance within real-world projects
The Graduate Fire Engineer
- Degree or Master's qualification in Fire Engineering or a related Engineering discipline
- Strong interest in fire safety engineering and the built environment
- Ability to work effectively within a collaborative team environment
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Good communication and organisational abilities
- Willingness to learn and develop within a technical consultancy environment
