The Role
As a Building Surveyor, you ll be involved in a wide range of projects across sectors including education, commercial, retail, and care. You ll support both professional surveying services and the delivery of refurbishment and improvement schemes.
Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering core building surveying services across a variety of projects
- Supporting and managing refurbishment and upgrade works
- Preparing technical reports, specifications, and schedules of work
- Assisting with contract administration and project management responsibilities
- Liaising closely with clients, consultants, and internal teams
- Producing and reviewing technical drawings using CAD
- Contributing to projects that deliver meaningful, positive outcomes
We re looking for a motivated and capable Building Surveyor who can demonstrate:
- A degree in Building Surveying or a closely related discipline
- Previous experience within a building surveying role
- Strong technical understanding of building fabric and refurbishment projects
- Proficiency in CAD (essential)
- Revit experience (desirable, not essential)
- Good communication skills and confidence in client-facing situations
- A proactive mindset and commitment to ongoing professional development
