Quantity Surveyor

A regional main contractor based in Birmingham is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join their Commercial team, delivering industrial and logistics projects across the Midlands. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with an industrial background to work on high-value projects with strong career progression.

• Provide commercial support across industrial and logistics projects, ensuring costs, budgets, and programmes are effectively managed.
• Assist with procurement, measurement, cost control, valuations, and accruals.
• Support Project Managers and site teams with contract administration and change management.
• Contribute to monthly reporting and forecasts, including earned value analysis.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet client requirements.

• Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the industrial or logistics sector, ideally with a Main Contractor.
• Knowledge of JCT/NEC contracts and current construction law.
• Experience in cost planning, procurement, and commercial management.
• Strong communication skills and a team-focused approach.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.

• Salary: 55,000- 60,000 per annum
