We are working alongside a long standing client who are a market-leading main contractor based in Oxfordshire and are seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join their Special Works Division, delivering a diverse portfolio of projects valued up to £4m.

The Role
As Quantity Surveyor, you will be involved in managing projects from pre-construction through to final account, across a varied mix of works including:
Heritage refurbishment projects across universities and colleges
New build projects
Minor works and specialist refurbishment schemes
Projects ranging up to £4m in value
You will play a key role in ensuring commercial success, working closely with project managers, site teams, and clients.
Key Responsibilities
Managing project costs from inception to completion
Procurement of subcontractors and suppliers
Contract administration and risk management
Preparing valuations, variations, and final accounts
Cost reporting and forecasting
Supporting project delivery teams to ensure commercial performance
Building and maintaining strong client and subcontractor relationships
Requirements
Experience working as a Quantity Surveyor within a main contractor environment
Experience delivering refurbishment and/or new build projects
Strong commercial awareness and negotiation skills
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Relevant construction qualification (HNC/HND/Degree) preferred
