Your role:
- Prepare, negotiate, and analyse budgets and costs
- Procure and pre-qualify subcontractors while managing contracts and payments
- Identify and manage commercial risks and contractual issues
- Produce detailed monthly cost value reconciliation reports
- Lead and mentor the commercial team, fostering strong collaboration with site operations
What we need from you:
- Degree qualified with civil engineering experience (the projects will mainly be on marine, ports, floods, defences)
- Solid knowledge of JCT and NEC contracts
- Strong commercial awareness and excellent communication skills
- Organised and able to meet deadlines with minimal supervision
- Willingness to travel occasionally to sites across Scotland
