Job Description
Involve Recruitment are seeking an experienced and motivated Quantity Surveyor to join our growing team in Bridgend. This role offers the opportunity to work across a diverse portfolio of housing projects, including new build developments, refurbishments and ongoing maintenance contracts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of cost control from project inception through to completion
- Prepare and evaluate tender submissions and contract documentation
- Oversee subcontractor procurement, negotiation, and management
- Monitor project budgets, forecasts, and cash flow
- Conduct valuations, variations, and final accounts
- Ensure projects are delivered within budget and contractual requirements
- Work closely with site teams, clients, and stakeholders
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in housing (new build and/or maintenance)
- Strong knowledge of construction contracts and cost management
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Relevant qualification (HNC/HND/Degree in Quantity Surveying or similar)
