About the Company

Vision is currently working with a Construction Consultancy Practice providing expert Quantity Surveying, Project Management, and Specialist Legal Support services across the UK and Northern Ireland.

The Role

A senior position reporting into the Lead Surveyors, Regional Directors and Board of Directors. You will take ownership of full QS duties across the project lifecycle pre and post-contract whilst building and maintaining client relationships and representing the business professionally at meetings. Strong opportunity for career progression for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities

  • Full quantity surveying and estimating duties including detailed BQ production
  • Pre-contract: feasibility studies, cost plans, tender submissions and procurement advice
  • Post-contract: valuations, cash flow forecasts, EOT/L&E claims and final accounts
  • Commercial management of subcontract packages and procurement processes
  • Protecting the company's contractual position across all projects
  • Dispute resolution and claims preparation
  • Supporting the continued growth and development of the business

Person Specification

  • Degree qualified or equivalent
  • RICS membership preferred
  • Strong commercial awareness and technical understanding
  • Confident decision maker with excellent communication skills
  • Ability to interpret contracts and technical documents
  • A good sense of humour is welcomed
