Overview
A well-established and growing Registered Building Control Approver is looking to appoint a Registered Building Inspector (Class 2A and above) to support an increasing workload across the Midlands.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a forward-thinking organisation offering a high degree of autonomy, flexible working, and clear progression routes as the business continues to expand.
You’ll be responsible for delivering Building Control services across a varied portfolio, with scope to work on both domestic and non-domestic projects depending on your level of registration and experience.
Key Responsibilities
· Manage a portfolio of Building Control projects from instruction through to completion.
· Undertake plan assessments and site inspections in line with current Building Regulations.
· Carry out statutory functions in accordance with relevant legislation and performance standards.
· Act as a key point of contact for clients, contractors and design teams.
· Build and maintain strong working relationships across your project portfolio.
About You
· Registered Building Inspector (Class 2A or above).
· Strong knowledge of Building Regulations and associated legislation.
· Experience managing projects independently (level dependent).
· Professional, client-facing approach with strong communication skills.
· Organised, proactive and able to manage your own workload.
· Full UK driving licence.
