THE ROLE My client, an established large firm of multi discipline construction consultants now seeks a QUANTITY SURVEYOR at either recently chartered level or a bit above that. You will work on large commercial projects where you will work as part of a team and you will work on smaller commercial projects too. You will also supervise an Apprentice / Trainee QS. You will be involved in all aspects of Cost Management doing both pre and post contract duties including overseeing cost management and budget control, dealing directly with clients and stakeholders, preparing reports and maintaining project documentation, ensuring compliance with contracts etc. You should be able to run your own projects as the Project Surveyor.
