We are seeking an experienced Senior Structural Engineer to support the delivery of a diverse programme of bridge maintenance, highway structures, strengthening and renewal schemes for a local authority. This opportunity would suit an engineer with extensive experience in the design, assessment, inspection and project delivery of bridges, retaining walls, culverts and other highway structures. You will play a key role in managing schemes from concept through to construction, working closely with contractors, stakeholders and multidisciplinary teams. Key Responsibilities Lead the design, assessment and strengthening of highway structures, including bridges, culverts and retaining walls. Produce calculations, drawings, reinforced concrete detailing, specifications, bills of quantities and contract documentation.
