Douglas City Council is seeking a Building Control Manager to manage a small local authority Building Control team based in Douglas, capital city of the Isle of Man. The Isle of Man is not covered by the Building Safety Act 2022 so Building Inspectors and Building Control Managers are not required to be registered but you should have the competencies to manage the team, plus specialist consultants when required, on a wide range of projects. In addition to a detailed knowledge of building safety and the regulations, you should have the ability to foster strong working relationships across various sectors.
