I'm working with a well-respected civil engineering contractor known for delivering complex groundworks, concrete, and structural projects across London and the South East. They're looking for a strong Senior Quantity Surveyor - someone with solid experience, ideally coming from another major civils contractor, who's ready to take real commercial ownership of key schemes. You'll be involved in some technically challenging projects - so they're after someone who genuinely understands construction methodology, plant, and materials , and can spot change early by getting into the detail of drawings and specifications. If you're confident pricing variations from first principles , have a good grounding in NEC contracts (Option A/C experience is a bonus), and know how to work with planners on programme impacts (Clause 62), this role will suit you perfectly.
