Due to the new project win, out client requires a site based freelance Senior Quantity Surveyor from a subcontractor self-delivery background, with earthworks and drainage experience. This would be a long-term Outside ir35 contract. Freelance Senior Quantity Surveyor roles and responsibilities: Reporting to the Project Manager onsite, you will be responsible for commercial administration of self-delivery earthworks and drainage packages, under an NEC Option B contract, with a circa 11m value. You will be responsible for: Day to day commercial administration of earthworks and drainage packages. Reviewing progress on site in line with commercials and programme. Due to an increase in workload, our client, an award winning family owned Contractor has the need for a Quantity Surveyor to support Commercial activities on schemes including on Thames Water, Groundworks, Drainage and HS2 schemes they have secured. Based from their offices in North West London, daily duties include Valuations, Issuing Payments, CVRs/Commercial reporting and Variations. To be considered for this role, you will have a minimum of an HNC in Quantity Surveying and will have circa 5 years experience gained within the Infrastructure sector and with reputable Contractors. In return, a top day rate is on offer which is Outside IR35 and comes with a long term contract! We are looking for a quantity Surveyor for one of our clients. You'll be responsible for the commercial management of groundworks and civil engineering works on a major water infrastructure scheme in Reading/ Aylesbury/ Rickmansworth. You'll be managing all commercial aspects of the project, including cost reporting, valuations, subcontractor procurement and management, change control, compensation events and final accounts. Working closely with operational teams to maximise project profitability while overseeing costs associated with drainage, deep excavations, reinforced concrete structures, utilities, ducting, earthworks and associated infrastructure works.
