Freelance Quantity Surveyor Day Rate: Negotiable Duration: 3 Months potentially longer Location: Leicester Immediate start preferred I'm currently working with a leading PLC residential developer who is looking to appoint an experienced Freelance Quantity Surveyor to support their commercial team. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established business with a strong pipeline of residential developments and work closely with senior management in a hands-on role. Due to a number of sites coming through they are looking for some extra commercial support.

Elevate projects are working in partnership with our client, a local provider of affordable housing to appoint an experienced Quantity Surveyor on an ongoing long term temporary basis: Experienced Quantity Surveyor (or procurement professional) with a strong background in local authority and public sector projects. Proven ability in delivering pre-contract and procurement activities. Sound knowledge of the Public Procurement Act 2023 and public sector procurement compliance requirements. Experienced in tender evaluation, commercial assessments and preparation contract documentation. Strong understanding of governance, risk management and value-for-money principles. Effective stakeholder manager, working collaboratively with project teams, consultants and contractors. Able to provide immediate commercial support to ensure efficient and compliant project delivery.
