I am currently supporting one of the fastest growing UK based main contractors with their search for a freelance site based Quantity Surveyor, to join their team for the final 6 months on one of their flagship London projects. The project itself consists of a £19m CAT A commercial cut and carve fit out, to three floors of office space along with roof upgrades, a new entrance and a refurbishment to the retail units on the ground floor. Duties will involve managing all of the downstream valuations, appraisals and overall getting a hold of the subcontractors, to support a site based commercial manager. There is a strong possibility due to the contractors growth for the contract to be extended or for the successful applicant to be offered a permanent role.
