Our client, a major UK Contractor have the need for a Quantity Surveyor to support works that are ongoing at RAF Brize Norton in Oxfordshire. The works include: Runway Upgrades Lighting Upgrades Accommodation Build Other Civils & Construction works Based from their offices, you will be reporting to the Commercial Manager undertaking duties including: Sub Contractor Account Management Applications for Payments Variations Cost Reporting Final Accounts To be considered, you will have a minimum of an HNC in Quantity Surveying and will have circa 5 years experience in the industry working in the UK on Infrastructure works. They will also consider an Assistant QS who is looking for a step up in their career. This role will offer an immedaite start as well as a competitive day rate. The contract length will be a year minimum.

You'll be managing all commercial aspects of the project, including cost reporting, valuations, subcontractor procurement and management, change control, compensation events and final accounts. Working closely with operational teams to maximise project profitability while overseeing costs associated with drainage, deep excavations, reinforced concrete structures, utilities, ducting, earthworks and associated infrastructure works.
