Job Description
Pinnacle are looking to speak to Senior Quantity Surveyors, with a strong background in rail infrastructure, specifically across civil engineering and signalling projects.
This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially astute professional to support high-profile rail programmes, ensuring robust cost control, contract management, and project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead all commercial and contractual aspects of rail projects, from pre-contract through to final account
- Prepare, review, and manage cost plans, budgets, and forecasts
- Administer contracts (e.g. NEC forms) including compensation events and variations
- Conduct value engineering and cost optimisation exercises
- Manage subcontractor procurement, payments, and final accounts
- Provide accurate and timely commercial reporting
- Support project teams in risk management and mitigation strategies
- Liaise with clients, stakeholders, and multidisciplinary teams
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Senior QS within the rail sector
- Strong background in civil engineering and signalling projects
- Extensive knowledge of NEC contracts (NEC3/NEC4 preferred)
Pay is 400- 450 (DOE) per day outside IR35.
