They are currently delivering a flagship major project in the East Midlands and are seeking a talented Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team.
Quantity Surveyor roles and responsibilities
Manage project costs from inception through to final account, ensuring value for money and financial efficiency.
Prepare, review, and negotiate subcontractor packages, valuations, and variations.
Monitor project budgets, forecasts, and cash flow, providing regular commercial reports to senior management.
Quantity Surveyor requirements
Proven experience working as a Quantity Surveyor, ideally with a Tier 1 contractor or on major projects.
Strong knowledge of standard forms of contract (e.g., NEC, JCT).
Excellent commercial awareness, negotiation skills, and attention to detail.
