An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Structural Engineer to join a wellestablished and progressive engineering consultancy based in Cardiff. The practice is known for delivering thoughtful, technically excellent, and practical design solutions across a wide range of sectors including residential, commercial, education, and mixeduse developments.

The Role
As a Structural Engineer, you will:
- Lead structural design work on a variety of projects from early concept to construction
- Produce highquality technical outputs in line with relevant UK codes and standards
- Prepare, check, and review design calculations, drawings, and reports
- Liaise effectively with clients, architects, and the wider design team throughout the design process
- Attend site visits and provide technical support during construction stages
- Support and collaborate with junior engineers and assist with mentoring where appropriate
- Contribute to ongoing improvements in design processes and quality
About You
We are looking for someone who:
- Holds a degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
- Has strong experience within a UK consultancy environment
- Is working towards Chartered status (MIStructE or MICE preferred)
- Has a solid understanding of UK design standards and Eurocodes
- Is confident using structural analysis and design software
- Has experience with AutoCAD and/or Revit
- Enjoys working collaboratively within multidisciplinary design teams
- Communicates effectively with both technical and nontechnical stakeholders
