Job Description
Fawkes and Reece are now assisting in the search for a Quantity Surveyor to join a super prime residential contractor working in Hampshire and Surrey. The contractor is one which specialises in the new build/extension of bespoke homes and refurbishment of listed buildings valuing from 20mil - 100mil.
About the role of Quantity Surveyor:
As Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for either managing your own smaller scale project or working within the commercial team on larger scale schemes.
Key Responsibilities as Quantity Surveyor:
- Take projects from Estimator handover
- Manage sub-contract procurement
- Manage sub-contractors accounts on site, dealing with variations
- Manage monthly valuations and liaise with the client
- Deal with final accounts
Key Requirements for this Quantity Surveyor role:
- Proven track record working with reputable main contractors
- Experience managing a project as commercial lead on site
- Experience working on super prime residential schemes is beneficial but not essential
- Have the full right to work in the UK and live within a commutable distance to Hampshire/Surrey
