Job Description
Involve Recruitment are seeking an M&E Quantity Surveyor to join a well-established construction contractor delivering a strong pipeline of commercial projects across the South West and South Wales.
The business is involved in a range of schemes including fit-out, refurbishment, and specialist MEP packages, offering exposure to varied and technically interesting projects.
You will be responsible for the commercial management of M&E packages across multiple projects, supporting delivery from pre-construction through to final account.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing the commercial aspects of mechanical and electrical packages
- Cost planning, forecasting and reporting
- Procurement and management of subcontractors
- Preparing valuations, variations and final accounts
- Contract administration (NEC / JCT)
- Liaising with project teams, clients and supply chain
- Supporting project delivery to ensure commercial targets are achieved
Requirements:
- 3+ years experience in an M&E Quantity Surveying role
- Background within contractor, subcontractor or consultancy environments
- Experience working on commercial, fit-out or refurbishment projects
- Good understanding of MEP services and packages
- Working knowledge of NEC or JCT contracts
- Strong communication and organisational skills
