The Role
As a Building Surveyor, you will work across a broad range of sectors including education, commercial, retail, and care. The role will involve both professional surveying instructions and the delivery of refurbishment and improvement projects.
Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering a full range of core building surveying services across varied projects
- Assisting with and managing refurbishment, repair, and upgrade schemes
- Preparing technical reports, specifications, and schedules of work
- Supporting contract administration and project management duties
- Building strong relationships with clients, consultants, and internal teams
- Producing and reviewing technical drawings using CAD software
- Contributing to schemes that provide positive and meaningful outcomes
We are seeking an ambitious and capable Building Surveyor who can demonstrate:
- A degree in Building Surveying or a related discipline
- Previous experience within a building surveying environment
- Strong technical knowledge of building fabric, maintenance, and refurbishment works
- CAD proficiency (essential)
- Revit experience (advantageous but not essential)
- Strong communication skills with confidence in client-facing situations
