Job Description
We're working with a well-established regional contractor to recruit a capable Quantity Surveyor to support the delivery of two live projects along the South Coast.
This role offers the opportunity to take ownership of:
- A 4.5m project in Lancing
- A 2.5m project in Worthing
- 1 day a week in Southampton office / flexibility to WFH one day a week.
The position would suit either:
- An experienced QS looking to take responsibility for a smaller portfolio of projects, or
- An ambitious Intermediate QS ready to step up and gain greater autonomy
Key Responsibilities:
- Commercial management of two concurrent projects
- Cost control, procurement, and subcontractor management
- Valuations, variations, and final accounts
- Supporting project teams to ensure financial performance and delivery
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a Quantity Surveying role within construction
- Ability to manage multiple projects or a strong desire to step up into that responsibility
- NEC contract experience desirable, but not essential
- Willingness to travel across Lancing, Worthing, and Southampton (weekly)
