Position: Quantity Surveyor
Location: Chichester
Salary: 40,000 - 60,000 DOE

Bennett & Game are representing a well-established refurbishment contractor who are seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join their growing commercial team.

The company deliver a wide range of refurbishment and fit out projects across the South of England, with schemes typically ranging from 10k to 3M. With a 15M turnover, circa 45 office staff and 130 operatives, they offer strong financial stability, a structured commercial team and genuine long-term progression opportunities.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor looking to take full ownership of projects, work closely with senior commercial staff, and develop within a supportive environment with clear progression into senior level roles.

Quantity Surveyor Position Overview

Supporting cost planning, measurement and take-offs across multiple projects
Managing procurement and issuing subcontract enquiries
Preparing valuations and applications for payment
Monitoring project costs, variations and subcontract accounts
Attending site visits and progress meetings
Supporting commercial reporting and administration
Working closely with senior QS staff and gaining increased project responsibility

Quantity Surveyor Position Requirements

Minimum 2+ years Quantity Surveying experience
Background in refurbishment, fit out or subcontracting preferred
HNC, Degree or equivalent construction/commercial qualification
Strong numerical and communication skills
Confident working across both office and site environments
Full UK driving licence
