Structural / Temporary Works Design Engineer Maidstone Up to £50,000 Hybrid Working

Are you a Structural Engineer with experience in Temporary Works?

Looking to work on challenging construction projects while progressing toward Chartership?

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a growing engineering consultancy based in Maidstone.

What You'll Be Doing

You will be involved in the design and delivery of temporary works solutions across a variety of construction and infrastructure projects.

Your responsibilities will include:
  • Designing temporary works structures - propping, shoring, scaffolding and excavation support
  • Producing structural calculations and reports in accordance with Eurocodes
  • Preparing technical drawings and design details using AutoCAD or similar software
  • Collaborating with contractors, project managers and site teams
  • Attending site visits and inspections when required
  • Supporting design reviews and project coordination
What We're Looking For You may be a great fit if you have:
  • A Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
  • Around 3 6 years' experience in structural or temporary works design
  • Knowledge of Eurocodes and BS5975 Temporary Works procedures
  • Experience with structural analysis and CAD software
  • Working toward Chartered Engineer status (ICE or IStructE) (desirable)
