OVERVIEW Project Controls and Commercial Services (PCCS) is the mechanism in which Sellafield Ltd have engaged KBR Ltd to provide Commercial and Project Controls Services to the portfolio of enterprise projects, in addition to the original PPP programme. Those services include the provision of some 150+ Commercial and Project Controls Professionals across the Sellafield Ltd network of Projects. KBR's rapidly growing nuclear team of teams is working at the forefront of the UK's nuclear space on some of the most exciting new-build, defence and decommissioning programmes. We can only consider applicants with the right to live and work in the United Kingdom Senior Quantity Surveyor Role details Responsible for managing all commercial and cost-related aspects of Infrastructure and construction projects from inception to completion.This role ensures projects deliver value for money and comply with contractual and requirements. Key responsibilities Include procurement and contract administration, valuation of works, change control, cost assurance & audit and final account settlement.The role involves close collaboration with project managers, engineers, suppliers, and customers, as well as providing commercial advice and mentoring junior surveyors. Qualification, Skills or Experience MRICS plus 7 years' experience undertaking a similar level role is expected.Without MRICS, additional experience and other qualifications will be considered.NEC3 & NEC4 contract management experience is beneficial.Experience of mentoring and coaching Assistant Quantity Surveyors and QSs.Negotiating and influencing skills are critical to the role.Ability to work in collaboration and cooperation with the supply chain whilst maintainingcontract compliance and value for money is key to deliver these majorprojects.The individual should have strong communication skills and can buildconstructive working relationships.
