Position: Senior Building Surveyor
Location: Nottingham, London or Home Based (Hybrid Working Available)
Salary: 55,000 - 70,000 + Benefits

Bennett & Game are representing a growing multidisciplinary construction consultancy who are seeking a Senior Building Surveyor to join their expanding Building Surveying team.

Our client provides Building Surveying, Quantity Surveying and Project Management services across the UK. Their Building Surveying division has experienced significant growth and delivers work across heritage properties, commercial buildings, healthcare facilities, educational establishments, high-end residential estates and insurance reinstatement projects. The team works with a range of prestigious public and private sector clients throughout London and the wider UK.

This is an excellent opportunity for an MRICS Building Surveyor looking to join a flexible and supportive consultancy environment. The successful candidate will enjoy a genuine mix of professional and project work, exposure to a broad range of sectors and the opportunity to play a key role in the continued growth of an expanding Building Surveying team.

Salary & Benefits

55,000 - 70,000 dependent on experience

Senior Building Surveyor Position Overview

Undertake residential condition surveys and inspections for institutional and portfolio clients
Prepare schedules of works, specifications and technical reports
Deliver contract administration and project management services
Produce and review AutoCAD drawings and design information
Manage refurbishment, maintenance and heritage building projects
Undertake insurance reinstatement and defect-related surveying work
Liaise directly with clients, contractors and stakeholders throughout project delivery
Support graduate surveyors with APC guidance and professional development where appropriate

Senior Building Surveyor Position Requirements

MRICS qualified Building Surveyor
Experience within Building Surveying consultancy, client-side or local authority environments considered
Strong understanding of both professional and project-based Building Surveying services
Proficient in AutoCAD and capable of producing technical drawings
Experience preparing specifications, schedules of work and contract documentation
Excellent communication and client-facing skills
Ability to travel regularly throughout London and the South East
Full UK Driving Licence
