Quantity Surveyor
About the Role
A leading organisation within the UK energy and infrastructure sector is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to support the commercial delivery of major utility and renewable energy projects across Scotland on a 12-month contract basis. This hybrid role will focus on cost control, contract administration, commercial reporting, and stakeholder engagement, ensuring projects are delivered efficiently while maximising profitability and commercial performance.
Working closely with operational, project delivery, and commercial teams, you will help manage project finances, monitor performance against contract requirements, and support the successful delivery of infrastructure projects within a fast-paced environment.
You will play a key role in providing commercial insight, managing subcontractor relationships, analysing project costs and revenues, and ensuring contractual obligations are effectively administered throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
About You
You are an experienced Quantity Surveyor with a strong background working within utilities, infrastructure, energy, or civil engineering environments and are confident managing commercial activities across multiple projects.
You enjoy working collaboratively with operational and delivery teams, helping to translate commercial data into practical insight and recommendations that support project success and profitability.
You are organised, commercially aware, and comfortable managing multiple priorities within a fast-moving project environment while maintaining excellent attention to detail.
