We re currently supporting a client who is looking to appoint a Freelance Quantity Surveyor to support ongoing projects across Southampton.
This is a great opportunity for an experienced QS who enjoys working on fast-paced interior fit-out schemes and wants flexibility alongside a steady pipeline of work.
The role:
- Managing cost control across multiple fit-out projects in Southmapton
- Subcontractor procurement, negotiation and management
- Valuations, variations and final accounts
- Supporting project teams to ensure commercial success
- Working across office, retail and commercial interior schemes
What we re looking for:
- Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within fit-out/refurbishment
- Strong understanding of commercial interiors projects
- Confident managing subcontract packages and variations
- Ability to work independently in a freelance/contract capacity
- Available to cover ongoing Southampton-based projects
