Our client is an ambitious and growing structural engineering consultancy seeking a talented Structural Engineer to join their expanding Hemel Hempstead office. This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer with at least three years' UK consultancy experience who is looking to accelerate their career within a supportive, technically strong, and forward-thinking team.

Working on a diverse portfolio of projects across multiple sectors, the successful candidate will have the opportunity to develop their technical expertise, take ownership of projects, and progress towards Chartership within a business that genuinely invests in its people. Experience working with volume housebuilders would be advantageous but is not essential.

The successful Structural Engineer will be responsible for:

• Producing structural designs and analysis for a variety of building projects and structural elements.
• Preparing engineering calculations, technical reports, and design sketches.
• Reviewing and checking drawings to ensure technical accuracy and compliance.
• Liaising with clients, architects, contractors, and fellow consultants throughout project delivery.
• Managing workloads effectively and delivering projects to agreed deadlines.
• Contributing to technical excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement initiatives across the business.

The ideal candidate will possess:

• A degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (JBM-accredited preferred).
• A minimum of three years' experience within a UK structural engineering consultancy.
• Strong knowledge of UK design standards and Eurocodes.
• Excellent technical, communication, and organisational skills.
• The ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
• A proactive attitude and genuine enthusiasm for professional development.

Candidates currently working towards Chartership with the ICE or IStructE will be particularly well suited to this opportunity.
